Storm drops a tough one 3-1 to the LA wolves FC

Santa Clarita Storm facing the LA Wolves FC who where just 5 points behind the Storm in third place Saturday night at the Glendale Sports Complex. Storm came on very organized and deturmind took control of the game in the first halve with a goal from Midfileder John Lopez in the 26th minute when Lopez about 18 yards our stoled the ball from the Wolves and with a direct shot on goal that hit the back of the net. putting the Storm on top 1-0.

The reminder of the game stayed that way unitl the 65th mnute when the Wolves found a weak spot and got behind the defense and tied it up. But only for a minute as they came right back and gain the lead for the first time in the 66th minute  2-1 over the Storm. Then in the xtra tme 91st minute they picked up their 3rd on the night to finish the win. 

LA Wolves now onlyy 2 points behing the struggling Sterm as the Storm sits with a record of 4-1-3 13 points ( one 1-0 win from March 3ist game vs Cal FC has yet to be posted.) and the LA Wolves with 3-2-2 record with a total of 11 points sitting 3rd place on the UPSL table. 

Storm will return to Glendale Sports Complex May 4th in a 6pm match up with Sporting San Fernando who is presently 2-1-3 with 7points 5th on the Pro Premier standings.
